Milano Italian Bread (1 Lb)

No artificial preservatives. Since 1915. Over 90 years. Crispy crust. In 1915, Mario DeBenedetti began baking hearty Italian breads in Lockport, IL, using family recipes he brought over from his homeland. He called his bakery Milano, after the Italian City he remembered from his youth. Demand for his fresh baked breads grew quickly and in 1926, the Milano Bakery moved into a new building at 427 S. Chicago St., Joliet, IL. Today, his children and grandchildren carry on the tradition in that same location, turning out delicious hearth-baked breads and rolls, that are available in grocery stores and restaurants throughout Chicagoland. The DeBenedetti family also operates a retail shop that offers cakes, cookies and other sweets made from scratch every day. For the freshest baked goods around, you can't do better than Milano Bakery.
